The U300 is a 3G mobile phone from LG with a flip opening mechanism and a stylish curvaceous design. The U300 comes with dual screens a fun rather than serious camera video playback capabilities and an integrated media player. At 93g this clamshell is one of the lightest 3G phones available; it measures 96 x 49.7x 21.9 mm in the closed position. The external screen is a 1.7 Inch display that shows the time and date signal strength battery life and a photo identification of the contact who is calling. The internal screen is a large colourful 2-inch display that is large and colourful - a TFT type with 262 000colour display with a screen resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. The U300 comes with a basic 1.3 megapixel camera which does includes a 2 x digital zoom and has a rotating camera lens. You can take photos up to 1280 x 960 pixels in size. You can take photos in a multi-shot mode - nine continuous shots in quick succession store photos in a phone album and send them to others via MMS. You can record and play video MPEG4 format and can store them in a video gallery and have them streamed to the phone via the video on demand feature.
